Tomorrows WGT schedule

Mousesports and Made in Brazil grab the last spots for the WGT playoffs after group D.

In approxamatley eight hours the playoffs will be underway. Starting off at 10.00 CET will be:

mTw vs mousesports

The first of the two matches is between mTw and mousesports. mTw who have impessed most this year by winning numorous tournaments and most recently the WCG 2008. mTw is the undefeated team at the moment and are favored by many. The germanmousesports have played better and better after their lineup changewhere silver and Blizzard went out and cyx and gob came in. The teamhas just improved themselves over this year and won the WEM in Chinaalong with Extreme Masters Dubai. Unfortunatly mousesports did notqualify to the WCG. One can only speculate how far they would have goneif they hade been the German represant. This will be a top match in a early stage. Only one team can be the winner.

fnatic vs Blank

The second match includes fnatic and Blank. The last time these two teams played was earlier this autum at DreamHack Skelefteå where Blank beat fnatic 2-0 in the swedish WCG qualifier. Both the teams have been some what up and down lately. Fnatic have not been seen as the team they have previously been respected as but did go undefeated through their group stage. Blank who recently changed striker for Jumpy has managed to beat SK Gaming during yesterdays groupstage on this lineups debut event. A match that can go both ways.

Later on towards the afternoon the second half of the quater finals will be played at 13.00 CET.

SK Gaming vs Giants

The third quater final will take place at 13.00 CET. This Swedish only match will include Sk Gaming and Giants. Sk Gaming who finished second at the WCG 2008 and have won their share of this years events. Giants on the other hand who recently announced their orginization have been some what of a upset to the Swedish Counter-Strike scene. They have managed to beat all the top Swedish teams at least once and in most cases more than that. Of those teams Sk Gaming, fnatic, Volt Gaming, Blank and Begrip. Sk Gaming have the years of experience but Giants shocking results from the last months could send this match in both directions.

Made in Brazil vs MYM

The last of the four quater finals are between none less than Made in Brazil and MYM. Made in Brazil has had an up and down year. Changing their lineupserveral times, but none the less still able to stick around the top.The last two times these teams have played MYM has been the victoriousone. Made in Brazil will be going in to this match as what many may seas underdogs. MYM on the other hand have had some what of a roler coster ride. They won the ESWC for the second yeard in a row but seem to only finish top ”x” at most tournaments. The team who also recently changed their two year old member kuben for the more unknown pionas. The team has bootcamped at Inferno Online for the past week, and hopefully it will pay off under tomorrows
matches.
