ESWC Movies Released!

In the draft of ESWC, HLTV.org now releases the two best movies. The winner will receive a brand new kick ass Sennheiser headset.

But in the spirit of HLTV.org, there will be more winners. As most of you know we have a blog section. The HLTV.org user to post the best review of one of the two movies in the blogs will receive a free Qpad.

Our own Nix0n has made his own review of the first movie which might give you some pointers on how to do it. Your own contribution doesn’t have to fit his setup, people feel free to give it your own personal flavor.

Frags: [4/5]
The frags are those nail biting rounds, where it's on the edge of going both ways. It is all from amazing double kills, to random kills through the floor that makes it amazing to watch. I count five rounds with eco frags, and that's just five too many. The frags that really make you blow your brain out are well selected, and thats what makes it worth watching.

Sound: [3/5]
Using both the in game sound, along with the real sound from the players yelling, makes you wanna be at that very moment where great things take place. The master volume tends to be a little too high.

Footage: [5/5]
Using the footage from fragbite, makes this fragmovie unique. It is not often you see it, and maybe thats why cs movies tend to be boring? Using the footage along with the in game frags makes it very intense to follow.

Clipping: [4/5]
The clipping is okay. There are a few scenes where you are waiting for things to happen, and you could wish it was just going a bit faster.

Editing: [5/5]
The editing is just amazing. Using both footage, in game clip, along with the animations make it worth watching. No too many effects, makes it simple.

Overall: [4/5]
In my mind this is how most CS movies should be done. But it's not easy to get live footage from the event. But as I said before, that is what makes this movie unique. It's a great movie that shows bits of different parts of ESWC. The group play, the playoffs and the final. I wish it was an inch longer, but thats just my opinion.
